Mimi graduated with a Juris Doctor from Melbourne University in 2018. She also has a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Politics and International Studies from Melbourne University. Mimi has been working as a paralegal at Farrell Family Lawyers since March 2017.
Prior to working at Farrell Family Lawyers, Mimi was Editor of the Melbourne Journal of International Law and Secretariat for the Australian Association of Constitutional Law. Throughout her studies Mimi was Research Assistant to several Professors at Melbourne Law School, an experience which has equipped her with high level legal research skills and proficiency in human rights and international law. Mimi has also studied abroad at Barnard College, Columbia University in New York.
Mimi has a strong interest in children’s matters and a passion for assisting clients to reach outcomes that are focused on the best interests of the children. She was a volunteer at Women’s Legal Service and through this experience has gained an understanding of the legal framework surrounding domestic violence intervention orders and child protection matters. Mimi has a passion for human rights and has volunteered for many years at refugee advocacy organisations, including Refugee Legal and the Refugee Council of Australia.
Mimi has completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law and expects to be admitted to practice in February 2019.
